2017 I did the 3 mile course at the Great Peconic Race on Shelter Island, my home town. Unfortunately I had a prior engagement that didn’t allow me enough time to do one of the longer courses. This day was also the start of my 6 year old Sons Paddle Board racing journey. He did great in the kids race, I was so proud.
